Hi, I'm Sarah — teacher by day, baker by spare time, and the heart behind The Sweet Saint.

My baking journey began in 2021 with custom sugar cookies, where I fell in love with turning simple ingredients into edible works of art. Over the years, that passion has grown into a love for cake pops, dipped treats, and dreaming up new flavors and creations that bring joy to every celebration.

A Texas girl through and through, I also have deep family roots in New Orleans. Growing up surrounded by the traditions, food, and spirit of the city, and being part of a family of devoted New Orleans Saints fans, inspired the name The Sweet Saint. It's a nod to family, tradition, and the sweet moments that bring us together.

When I'm not in the classroom, you'll usually find me in the kitchen testing recipes, perfecting techniques, or getting excited about my next sweet idea. I love the creative process just as much as the finished product, and nothing makes me happier than bringing someone's vision to life, whether it's a classic favorite or something completely unique.

As a teacher, I've had the privilege of watching so many students grow up, and some of my sweetest moments as a baker have been creating treats for those same students as they celebrate life's biggest milestones like graduations, weddings, and even welcoming babies of their own. Being a small part of those special moments is something I never take for granted.
